Raja Azmi: My new movie will have nudity

Another movie, another controversy for Raja Azmi Raja Sulaiman.
The controversial filmmaker, who set the internet abuzz with Malaysia's first commercial gay movie, ....Dalam Botol, is currently conceptualising her next outing, Anak Ikan - which is Malay slang for a young male lover.
But Raja Azmi is quick to deny that Anak Ikan is the follow up to ...Dalam Botol.
"No, it's not a gay movie," she told The Daily Chilli during a private Raya gathering at her home in Ukay Perdana, Kuala Lumpur. "It's actually a buddy film - a broken friendship that's rekindled."
Based on a short story written by best-selling author Ajami Hashim, Anak Ikan revolves around the friendship between a man and his pet fish - which eventually turns into a male mermaid.
"The original book has a gay theme," the passionate film producer explained. "But I've asked Ajami to take it out for the screen adaptation. The young guy (anak ikan) will have a relationship with an older woman."
But that's not the biggest twist to the story. Anak Ikan, according to Raja Azmi, will have nude scenes.
"The fish is gonna be naked in a bathtub when he turns into a man," she laughed. "It's not my script. It's Ajami's script."
The fantasy flick is set to be directed by her son-in-law, Mohd Shadan Hashim (Haru Biru and Anak-anak Sidek).
"We haven't decided on the casting yet," said Raja Azmi. "But I would love to have Sam Bunkface in the movie. We plan to start shooting in January next year."
