Love Sex Aur Dhoka is generating a lot of buzz in the West

Move aside Slumdog Millionaire, 'coz here comes Love Sex aur Dhokha (LSD).

The digitally shot indie film is causing a stir in the West due to its full frontal nude scenes - the first ever for Bollywood - involving unknown Indian actors.

According to digitalspy.co.uk, the film's producers Ekta Kapoor and Dibaker Banerjee don't mean to shock. They just want to keep it real.

"The script required the scene to be shot with full frontal," reports the online movie portal. "It took a lot of courage for both the actors to do it. LSD does not aim to shock audiences but does aim at mirroring reality."

It has been reported that Ekta and Dibaker went on a nationwide search for newbies who were gutsy enough to get involved in their controversial project.

Apparently, their decision not to hire established Bollywood names was deliberate.

"Since the film mirrors reality, having known faces would not have done justice to the story," Ekta has been quoted saying.

A combo of three real life stories, LSD attempts at examing the effects of social media on Indian youth, and how pornography is so easily obtainable with modern technology.
